These 1779 series notes are among the most desirable Colonial notes as the engravings are all stunning for the time with highly ornate backs. Although generally available in lower grades, high grade and problem free examples such as this are exceedingly difficult. Nice signatures and original paper justify the “EPQ,” designation from PMG.
