1799 $1 Irregular Date, 13 Stars Reverse, B-13, BB-151, R.5 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. Bowers Die State II. The strike is sharp at the peripheries and only slightly incomplete on the central high points. Mildly glossy surfaces suggest an old cleaning, although this piece has since retoned mottled olive-gray and gold hues. The highest points of Liberty's portrait show light scuffs under a loupe.
