1893-CC Redfield Red Paramount (MS65) Rare MS62/3

1893-CC $1 Morgan Dollar Paramount International MS65 (MS62). Ex: Redfield. Housed in the original red plastic case as sold by Paramount International Coin Corporation. A lovely Mint State example of this final Carson City Mint dollar with frosty luster, sharp design features, and attractive peripheral iridescence. La Vere Redfield was a hard money advocate whose estate held a vast quantity of silver dollars, including many better dates. Circa-1980, Paramount had the then-novel idea of encapsulating his dollars in graded holders, although only two grades were used, MS60 (black holder) and MS65 (red holder).
