Fr. 1610 $1 1935A S Silver Certificate. PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ. A deeply inked "S" experimental note that is well centered within four broad margins. These Experimental notes were released in the Chicago area on June 20, 1944 to test regular and special paper head-to-head for wear characteristics. The test was inconclusive, and paper money collectors and the general public received the blame for removing the notes from circulation.
